Summary: Magneto tells the team that they need to practice in the Danger Room. When he turns off the environment that is running, he sees Bird Boy, who starts to panic. After trying to catch him, they calm him down with food from a refrigerator that Illyana teleports in. Magneto tests Bird Boy using Cerebro, & he registers as an anomaly, neither human nor mutant. Rahne asks Doug to talk to Bird Boy, but Doug refuses since he doesn't consider BB to be human. The team says goodbye to Amara before she leaves with Emma Frost to attend the Massachusetts Academy. The team decides to take BB to the mall, & they dress him up in clothes to hide his appearance. At the restaurant, BB creates a big mess while they are eating. They leave to go to the movie theater. In the theater, BB flies toward the screen after seeing an advertisement for burgers. Cannonball catches him, & Illyana transports the team back to the school. Magneto has learned of what happened at the restaurant & tells them that BB is to be turned over to the authorities at once. Seeing Rahne cry over this news, Doug tries to talk to BB & succeeds, learning some of his background. A happy Rahne tells the others that BB should stay now & join their team.
