    (Cover Date: July, 1988) Summary: While Spidey is questioning some tough guys in a bar about who hired the hitman (last issue), one of the tough guys is shot in the back by an unknown assailant when he is about to shoot Spidey. Tombstone tells the Arranger that the unknown assailant at the bar is looking for him, as planned. Peter receives a call to meet someone at the Statue of Liberty. When he comes as Spidey instead, he gets shot at to scare him off. He catches up with the Punisher, who wants Robbie's cassette tape regarding Tombstone.
