Oct 23, 2013Luke Ross at least helps create some visual consistency with Spencer's issues.The series familiar shadowy, noir-tinged tone is as pronounced as ever despite the change in setting and scenery. But while Ross storytelling is generally solid, there's an eerie, lifeless quality to the battles. There are no bystanders of any kind, and the aliens are rendered in such murky detail that the threat is greatly diminished. I'll be happier when this series can return to the conflicts and characters that made it stand out in the first place. Read Full Review
