Aug 21, 2015Overall this was may favorite issue of this series so far and I'd encourage any readers, especially Silver Surfer fans to pick up. Even with the great art on the inside, the cover by Francesco Francavilla with a Silver Surfer bearing down on the Maestro is worth it all on its own. We haven't seen too much of Silver Surfer in Secret Wars and it looks as though there's no plans to use him in the main series so seeing him here may be your only chance. Don't miss it. Pop Culture Uncovered - Ray W
Aug 13, 2015Secret Wars Battleworld #4 was a great ride with two amazing stories about the Silver Surfer and foes. Stokoe and David did an excellent job on the stories even though they had only about eleven pages each to tell them. Just the artwork alone is worth the purchase of this book. Im definitely going to check out the other Battleworld issues and if you're a fan of Silver Surfer or Maestro, check this issue out. Also, I want to see James Stokoe do a Silver Surfer series. Comic Crusaders - Dawn of Comics
Aug 14, 2015Both of these stories are very short and seem little more then filler in a book that doesn't even really need to printed. The art in each story is so different that it's a little off putting. In no way is the art bad. Both art types are gorgeous it's just that side by side they don't go together. Read Full Review

Stokoe's story is a cool Egyptian reimagining of Galactus and the Silver Surfer. But Peter David adds nothing to the book.
