The pacing of the story will still feel a bit rushed if this isn't your first introduction to the story, but it makes sense given the medium. If there were ever a downside to the fast-forwarded version of this Spider-Man story, it's that it's going to end all too soon and leave us wanting more. - Read Full Review
Well, was not a fan of the Miles and MJ's section of the video game and was not fan of them getting each an issue in this mini-series. While the art is great, if you have already played the game then no clue why you would pick this up. If you didn't play the game, then you will not be a fan of this issue because it was centered on MJ. Would have been nice to see some background on Mary Jane. Read Full Review
MJ plays and then over-plays the part of Spidey's plucky reporter sidekick. Yes, she uncovers the key details in Mr. Negative's scheme. But she also gets herself captured. On balance, there's just enough quality MJ work to make up for the shortage of Pete/Spidey attention (he is TECHNICALLY supposed to be the main character, you know). The art is gorgeous and airy and does a nearly-flawless job of moving the story along.
