Pretty sure part of Hopeless's contract was each issue must have Mary Jane in it because her scene is very pointless and makes no sense as to why they even have it in here. Just a useless scene. But we do end with finding out Mary Jane published her article to let the world know the truth. As well as for Pete to drop off Haley's costume… guess she had a sudden change in heart. Spider-Man gets the Blur kid to calm down, but not without being a bit of a dick about it. Solid storytelling on a simple resolution here, though this version of Spider-Man definitely needs some more work on his empathy skills. Kudos to the creators, though, for making me believe it's a natural failing on the part of the character rather than clumsiness in how he's portrayed.
