To summarize, this was a good introduction to what I hope will be a very rewarding arc of one my favorite Star Wars comics. It would be a decent place to pick up Poe Dameron if you havent read it before, and certainly is not one to miss for continuing readers. Read Full Review
STAR WARS: POE DAMERON #20 is a powerful comic by Charles Soule, Angel Unzeuta, and Arif Priento. This galactic epic is defined by phenomenal characters and exquisite-looking art. Read Full Review
Soule has now established a pitch perfect understanding of these characters. In fact he has fleshed out their dynamic and dialogue better than any other Star Wars medium to date. Read Full Review
A decent character issue before Black Squadron gets their next mission. I enjoyed the opening sequence much more than the scenes with the Resistance, but even those weren't terrible. The visuals are strong, with all the familiar faces looking just like their big screen inspirations. Again, a decent issue. Read Full Review
Superficially, this looks very much like a Star Wars comic, but the visuals have a hollow quality that does the book no favors. Read Full Review
This title continues to creep towards the events of The Force Awakens. Lor San Tekka is looming. I'm hoping to get some more info about Luke out of him but I know that the timeline of The Force Awakens makes that a little more difficult. This looks like the start of an interesting arc and I'm hoping to learn more about San Tekka too because he got so little screen time in the movie.
