I'm already sad that next issue is the final issue. I shouldn't be rooting for the Imperials " they are the bad guys after all " but I've fallen in love with all of these characters and I just want them to be happy. Sadly, they are on the wrong side of this conflict. The revelation and discussion about Graw is excellent and the peek into Ganem's past neat. The visuals are terrific and I would love to see the artists do more work in the Star Wars Universe. This is a great issue. Read Full Review
Houser puts together some good stuff here and I'm looking forward to seeing how the cadets handle things in the finale while also enjoying how the Shadow Wing group is dealing with their issues. The tension is ratcheting up really well here and it's just on the cusp of potentially dealing with a really big issue that I'd love to see explored more when it comes to defectors. Read Full Review

The story may be nothing new but this issue gets some who hate the Empire to cheer on the characters. While they may be just random characters whose name you probably couldn’t say if someone quizzed you randomly, it’s written so you care about what happens.
The characters still remain pretty faceless. I'm also pretty disappointed by how little this crosses over with the Alphabet squadron book.
