RECONSTRUCTION CONTINUES!
WHO ARE THE WEST COAST ULTIMATES? A new wave of superheroes makes their debut! A formidable faction takes on President Cap!
Joe Bennett takes over the art for this story. His heavily muscled figures are at times more extreme than I'd like from the Ultimate Universe, but his dynamic camera angles lend a nicely cinematic flair to the story. Has Humphries' Ultimate Comics Ultimates somehow gotten so bad that it's good? That's difficult to say, though it is starting to carry a certain goofy charm that had me smiling rather than swearing (my main response to the last few issues). I think at this point I'm reading the Ultimates out of habit, I have almost no hope left for it. It's not even like my problems with the continuity are it, the issue just wasn't very good. The only highlight were the scenes with Tony and Anthony which still boggle my mind, but at least they're good unlike the rest of the book. Read Full Review
I thought that it was exiting
Hey! It's the Immortal Hulk artist! I didn't even recognize his style here... But he's cool, really cool. The story wasn't something outstanding, but it was at least entertaining, which is already surprising for this series...
