In conclusion, Ultimate X-Men #16 is a wonderful installment that manages to deliver strong character development and moments all while continuing to use the horrifying clinical atmospheres that were used in the previous chapters. Read Full Review
Best issue in a little bit here. The story felt more structured, which is something I've been wanting from this title. It's one thing for Momoko to put out nice art, but it's another to tell and good and interesting story. I know some people can read a poorly-written book with great art, but I typically can't. Not to say this book has been badly-written, though, because it hasn't, overall. My point is just that I, personally, need a book that delivers on both the story and art fronts, and I think this issue did a better job of doing both than some other recent issues.
Solid fight, solid set up.
Better X book of the month.
