This is an issue that will probably appeal most to those readers who like their superhero comics to provide shocking surprises and unexpected deaths at every turn, and/or those who enjoy action-packed and highly detailed artwork. It's a dumb but intricately-drawn book that feels like a throwback to the bad old days of the 1990s, and whilst I'm sure there are readers out there who still enjoy that kind of thing, I'm personally sad to see the Ultimate Universe go out in so undignified a fashion. Ultimatum #4 was yet another horrible issue of what has quickly become the worst series I have read. And I have read the 90's Clone Saga. Just like how people hold up traffic to see how bad a crash is, the only reason I have to get the last issue of this series is that I just want to see how this trainwreck of a series will end.
