    This is something of an "in-between issue" - - something to get us from point A to point C and set up a lot of threads in the process - - but it's an exceptionally well-done in-between issue. I should comment, as well, that I've enjoyed how Portacio's art is evolved. Perhaps a lot of it has to do with the inker and colorist, but I've never seen his art look this crisp. Read Full Review

    With Hope taking her new recruits to a separate title, I'm optimistic that tighter and more character driven stories such as this one will be the norm on Uncanny – at least until the next X-event comes along anyways. Read Full Review

    Portacio was not great last issue, but here, his work improves tremendously and is enjoyable. He tries to work hard on the characters faces and the storytelling was better. The story flowed well when read visually. However, the best pages were those by artist Harvey Tolibao. Why cant he be the regular artist? His drawings were rich and detailed with a great quality and texture to the lines. Read Full Review
