Oct 14, 2026Wade Wilson: Deadpool #9 delivers the most entertaining "Big Guns" chapter yet, packing its pages with inventive action, brutal humor, and genuinely surprising twists. Benjamin Percy has a blast with the time gun concept, while Geoff Shaw's dynamic artwork makes every confrontation a treat. Black Hole finally gets some attention, and the bizarre final twist sets up an intriguing finale. It's a shame some of these ideas weren't introduced sooner, but this penultimate chapter gives the crossover a much-needed jolt of excitement. Read Full Review

Oct 17, 2026Wade Wilson: Deadpool #9 does a good job balancing the story with action. The penultimate issue of ‘Big Guns’ needed some fire under it, and it got it. Percy is keeping a strong, emotional story at the core of this frenzied crossover event. The art team always comes through within these pages, and they’re making this book one of my favorites. As a whole, I will say this book has the stronger issues in this crossover with Punisher. It surprises me to say that, considering, to me, I didn’t think Percy writing Wade would surpass him writing Frank. Read Full Review

Plot
The wild Deadpool/Punisher crossover BIG GUNS begins.
Deadpool tries to stop the Punisher, who has already secured the "Time Gun"—a weapon of unknown origin capable of killing anyone from any era of history. It had accidentally gone off once before, killing a saber-toothed tiger in the Stone Age; it holds ten rounds, and two have already been spent.
The "BadPools" attack the Punisher using the War Machine armor, allowing Deadpool to escape with Blind Al and the Time Gun. Deadpool wants to use the weapon to save his daughter, Ellie, but Al warns him of the potential consequences for the space-time continuum.
