Sep 02, 2026Wade Wilson: Deadpool #8 gets its four-part crossover underway with plenty of Badpool mayhem, a new mobile headquarters, and Punisher entering the hunt. Benjamin Percy spends much of the issue getting readers caught up and positioning the major players, making this an accessible starting point but a somewhat light chapter for anyone already following the series. Geoff Shaw brings plenty of personality to the violence, particularly when the Badpools cut loose, while the arrival of a surprisingly powerful threat promises bigger trouble ahead. It's a solid setup, though the abrupt ending makes it feel like the story is only beginning to hit its stride. Read Full Review

Sep 03, 2026I’ve been enjoying the thrill ride that is Wade Wilson: Deadpool, and issue 8 is no exception. I’ve said it before, but I’m seeing a different side of Percy’s writing in how he handles Wade, and I love it. I’ve only read his books with brooding characters like Ghost Rider, Wolverine, and Punisher. Deadpool is a nice addition while still keeping the frenzied action of his earlier work. I am excited to see how he handles the relationship between Wade and Frank, considering both of his characters he is currently writing are crossing over. This is looking into the future, but I am also very excited to see him write Bullseye in this arc. Read Full Review

Plot
The wild Deadpool/Punisher crossover BIG GUNS begins.
Deadpool didn't take out all the Badpools; there are many. The important thing is that these beings, derived from severed limbs of Deadpool, lack regenerative powers.
Blind Al decides to invest her fortune, earned using her ability to see the future, in Deadpool and herself. Now they have a flashy trailer, and they're going to start undertaking morally ambiguous missions. The first is to find a mysterious weapon on sublevel P3 of an abandoned S.H.I.E.L.D. base of operations, and then go after someone called BLACK HOLE.
Meanwhile, Micro tries to interrogate a Badpool, but Punisher loses patience and kills him because he knows he must go to the original more+ Like • Comment -

If you're just jumping in as a reader, good timing. This is a pretty silly fun set up of a storyline. Looking forward for more.

Considering I don’t like Deadpool and only read this issue because of the crossover with Punisher, this wasn’t actually bad.
