At the height of CIVIL WAR and SILENT WAR, can our planet's mightiest heroes put aside their differences long enough to save all of humanity?

The real problem with this issue, though, is that the core story is too epic for its own good. One oversized issue isn't enough to adequately explore the twists and turns of an alternate Annihilation War. While Hine doesn't waste our time with pointless side stories, I still wish we could have been granted a full-fledged mini-series in place of a single issue. I'd gladly trade in the rest of this year's What If? batch for more Annihilation goodness. Read Full Review
