This wasn't a very interesting and necessary add-up to the Wolverine's first appearance in the Incredible Hulk 180... I mean, it just doesn't make sense... Also, why the hell there was Karkas from the Kirby's Eternals? I dunno, not a fan of such inserts in the old stories, especially with so many odd elements. And I thought it would give more information for the Hulk #8, but no, the conclusion of this issue, that leads to that story, was already seen in the Hulk #7.

A mid-quality flashback issue talking about the days leading up to Wolverine's first appearance and battle against the Hulk. Art felt of average quality but I did like aspects of the encounter depicted here between Logan and Hulk villain The Leader, as well as seeing a bit more of Wolverine's time working at Department H.
