While it sometimes seems as though Marvel thinks that there's always room for one more "Wolverine" story in the market, if they were all as strong as this issue there'd be far less reason to complain about that. I'm hesitant to count Wolverine: Manifest Destiny out just yet, but the first issue hasn't proven it a worthy successor to Jason Aaron's stellar arc on the parent title. It's one to watch, but unfortunately not one to wholeheartedly recommend at the moment. Read Full Review
Worth the purchase, but this is only part one of a four issue series, so it won't hold the test of time without the other three. From what I've seen of Jason Aaron's writing, it's very consistent, so try out this issue and if you enjoy it, chances are you'll enjoy the next three. Read Full Review
Having Wolverine finally deal with his returned memories is a good concept for a story. It's a shame that the end result is mediocre. It's not that things can't or won't pick up, it's just that the first issue has to set the tone for the remainder of the series. This one misses the mark by a long shot. Read Full Review
