INSANE IN THE BRAIN PART 3 In the deepest darkest dungeons of the Dunwich Sanatorium, the true nature of this maddest of all madhouses is finally revealed, but will the answer come too late for Wolverine to salvage what's left of his sanity?
Excellent read and unlike anything you'll read in mainstream super hero comics. A creepy, dark and twisted story that answers a lot of lingering questions from earlier issues of the arc, but at the expense of that same creepy atmosphere they were building. Still top notch work. Highly recommended. Read Full Review
Wolverine fights for his life as his brain is about to be busted by a crazy scientist in a mental institution. But the toughest task for the mutant is to find out who he is. Will he find out in time to save himself? This issue reminded me of old Vertigo Comics where gore and body parts were part of what made the line geared for a mature audience. But besides the gore and the crazy scientist and his funny outlook on the world, there is nothing interesting to see. As I wrote before, this is a bad Batman Arkham Asylum type of stories using Wolverine but not really exploring what makes the character special, besides mentioning every couple of pages that there is a beast within him. At least with Yanick Paquette, no one can complain on the artwork. Its rich and gory and perhaps why this book feels more like a bad Vertigo comic book. Read Full Review
