The second issue for Liu and Conrad's X23 shows that the first was no fluke. This is a great exploration and expansion of the character that adds considerable depth while maintaining a highly interesting plot. Plus, this is the coolest that the Wolverine Goes to Hell storyline has been so far and actually has me more excited for future of Jason Aaron's Wolverine series because of that. This series continues to showcase superb craftsmanship, but still has a lot of potential yet to reach. As awesome as it is now, can you imagine how great it will be once it hits its stride? With a solid script and some particularly strong artwork from Will Conrad, this series has quite a lot going for it at the moment. Read Full Review

"X-23" reminds me, above all else, that there's no such thing as a bad character. All it takes is the right creative team to tackle them and make them interesting. I'll freely admit I never thought an "X-23" ongoing series would look interesting, but Liu and Conrad have ably proven me wrong. This is an instance that I don't mind being proven wrong.
