Once again, I must make an open plea to everyone: add this book to your list. You don't need to know anything about X-Factor, X-Men or read the other X-Men books to enjoy this – it's just good writing and a style of story that you don't see much of in comic books these days. This month's cover takes a more serious tone as opposed to the recent more old school bold covers, but it's welcome. As usual, the art, layout and story are well done and easy to follow. Readers should ready themselves for an emotional roller coaster before reading X-Factor #235. David and Kirk are firing on all cylinders, and it's unlikely that fans will walk away unsatisfied. A quick re-read/purchase of the excellent X-Factor #234 might help transition readers into this issue, but it's not necessary. By all means, though, get on the X-Factor bandwagon because you're missing out on one of the best titles around if you're not. Read Full Review

The drama between Havok and Madrox is great, and I hope it continues. Like I said, Peter David needs to do a lot more with Havok, and definitely Polaris. I'd love for them to becoming fully fleshed out characters. The other scenes with the team are good, especially that one watching the murder video. Read Full Review

Overall, this issue's a lot of setup for a two-issue arc. So I'm hoping the next issue doesn't seem too rushed. We need to have some battles as well as find out why in the world these dorks were being targeted and murdered. X-Factor continues to be a book I look forward to every two weeks.
