This issue is helped somewhat by the fairly exciting bits of action that open and close the issue, as it's been a little while since we've seen the members of X-Statix in action as a group, and it's nice to be reminded that not only are they a formidable fighting force, but when their battle are removed from potential witnesses they resort to a level of brutality that would have most heroes looking upon them as truly despicable.
