As I mentioned earlier, the direct comedy style of Rick and Morty isn't overbearing because they do it right. And the writer's self-critical nods lend perfectly to the twists throughout. Rick remains the smartest person in the room, and therefore takes no interest in Morty's silly problems. This allows Morty to be the star this week, and so we get all the kooky humor of an insecure fourteen year old boy. A simple issue, it begins with Morty in a summer camp and Rick being the counselor of the camp. Things seem off right away, and the issue celebrates the randomness with a lot of characters making easter egg like cameos. This is an issue for the fans, and plenty of references only a hardcore fan will truly appreciate. Read Full Review

This is something that I'm certain most any of my friends (even those that don't read comics) would enjoy. It's the kind of comic I'd leave a hardcopy of on an end table by my couch. I'd recommend it to anyone looking for something funny. Read Full Review
