I simply adored this issue. The 50's era mutually assured annihilation paranoia plays out well with the story Clevinger is telling. The issue also finds Wegener stretching his legs to draw more aliens and people than we've seen before, and every page is a pleasure to read. With the exciting (well, mildly hair-raising at least) conclusion coming next month, how will AR deal with the fact that he was in an exploding pyramid out in the middle of the desert? I really tried to like this, I thought it would be good, but scenes shift so fast I could sue IDW for whiplash, characters do some incredibly stupid shit that made me wonder if the writer has trouble tying his shoes and the whole thing is depressingly disappointing. Read Full Review
