    This kind of thing is sprinkled all throughout the show, constantly ending on the glimpse of some mystic trinket like the Helm of Fate or the Sword of Knight only for it to disappear into the backdrop never to be mentioned again. This is most embodied in the character of Chas Chandler, a long-time Hellblazer supporting character,acomplete waste inthe show. Week after week, Chas's character has been pushed to the sidelines, given no screentime despite being successful and well-loved enough to receive his own comic mini-series. It's just painfully obvious that the creators and David Goyer especially have no connection to this material. They approach it with the same typeof passionless, dead-eyed vacancy we see mirrored on their characters in every episode. And the result is a soulless program that serves only to gobble up your time before shambling on to next week like zombie television. Read Full Review
