Love & Capes recovers from its fifth issue that underwhelmed me a little bit by doing some good stuff with the two main characters and working the Amazonia subplot into it in a big way. We've had snippets of their relationship prior to this since the two have felt comfortable with each other for a long time and it's good to see the two big points between then, though it does leave you wanting to see how they recovered and became friends after something as big as that. The superhero side is much stronger here than it has been and in a more cohesive way and that worked well while still bringing in plenty of character material for Abby to work with as she copes with what she's learned. Seeing how it impacts her, and how Mark manages to put things mostly right, makes for a good way to hopefully close out certain issues for awhile so it can move on to other areas. Read Full Review
