    The idea of the Crow is quite a story. The original creator, James O'Barr, invented the main character in an attempt to deal with the real-life death of his girlfriend at the hands of a drunk driver. The Crow storylines lean heavily on vengeance. Maybe this is the way James O'Barr felt at the time, so I think this character is capturing his spirit in wanting to avenge the death of his girlfriend. They have always been dark and mysterious stories, full of shadows and edgy artwork, as well as imaginative writing. Let's see how this new incarnation of The Crow takes off. The story starts in Tokyo, with Jamie Osterberg and his fiance Haruko Tatsumi walking through the street late at night. For years, Tokyo has been bothered by the crows, who have appeared in numbers. Haruko says they represent good spirits and we will find out later in the story arc if that is true.
