I really enjoyed this one off story, nicely written by Scottie Young and with a good helping of humor, while still roughly sticking to the original story. The artwork from Gurihiru is fantastic and the nice baby versions of the characters are still easily recognizable. So for a nice, enjoyable read, this gets an 8/10. Bedtime for me now, as I have pre-school in the morning. I hope whoever reads this will have enjoyed my tongue-in-cheek review in the style of the comic.

Easily 10/10, not just for the artwork, but the story, too, as Lara Fuentes has ramped up the excitement levels and has given the reader two characters that you can really connect to. A masterpiece that just gets better and better. I can't wait for issue #3!

I know that Deadpool is not everyone's favorite superhero. Some would even class him as a supervillain after the way he burst onto the scene in 1991. I, for one, love him. He has changed teams and, indeed, sides several times, but still preferred to take on the world's scum on his own. His famous sense of humor has graced stories for 21 years now and I, for one, am glad that Marvel has decided to hand him one of their Marvel NOW! berths. A well-written story and beautiful artwork make it a great introduction for new Deadpool fans and a fitting return for the more experienced. In my opinion, it's a promising start with the hope of more of the same to come. 8/10

Some of the Deadpool humor might just seem a bit cheesy, at times, but that just sums him up for me. Brian Posehn and Gerry Duggan have done a good job, so far, balancing a good story with humor, to good effect. Moore captures the brutality and poses of Deadpool brilliantly, especially the scene with the elephant. More of the same for issue #3, please. I give this an 8/10.

Another brilliant issue, as the presidents trade insults with Deadpool and, indeed, themselves, full of off the cuff humour and brilliant references throughout. I need a Deadpool fix more often, but as Marvel's release schedule is so messed up at the moment, it's nearly a weekly, which suits me fine. A very well-deserved 9/10.

A solid 9/10 for this first issue. Brady Sullivan should be heading on to greater things, going by the imagination he puts into his writing. The artwork is worth a mention, too. It's not overly busy, but well-drawn and functional. More of the same for issue #2 will do it for me.

I really enjoyed this story, as it gets turned on its head with the introduction of Ashley and the realization of her secret. Also, the way that Saul is an unwilling vampire desperate to live a normal life. The past of Quinn that was hinted at is also cool. Seeley's artwork is good, especially in the close-up frames, well drawn and clear as it gets the twists and turns of the story across without a problem. 8/10 for issue #1.

A twisted and dark story, well-written by Seeley and Emmons. One that is full of tension and surprises, cleverly created and illustrated by Seeley. Another 8/10.

Tim Seeley really has invented a good storyline. With the introduction of the rats to the story, it will only get better. Vivid and colorful artwork really does the murder scenes justice. This makes them stand out. It's another 8/10 again, as it keeps the pace really well.

A strange mixture of characters make up The Guardians, from the cool guys to the ordinary guys to the quite bizarre, but they all bring something to the table. Really nice artwork by Todd Nauck goes well with Phil Hester's story, going from the sublime to the ridiculous, but in a very good way. A good first issue gets an 8/10 for an interesting read.

Issue #2 carries on this very entertaining story, which is a great mix of characters, all with their own individual skills that form a formidable team, when put together. A good bit of humor in the mix, too, making it a pleasant read. Nice functional artwork helps, too, with some really top-notch frames added to show the quality of Todd Nauck and John Rauch. A well-deserved 8/10 again.

This was a bit of a strange issue, as it felt fragmented, jumping from location to location. I think this tends to point to the fact that the Guardians are so thinly spread. It is still a solid story, which is very well-drawn. As I mentioned, the humor is throughout the story and I'm really enjoying it. A 7/10 for issue #3.

This issue is a marked improvement, with the introduction of possibly another two characters. A tight story is kept ticking along. The artwork is brilliant on the other hand, expertly drawn panels and frames bring the story and The Guardians to life. An extra point, taking it to 8/10.

This had me totally hooked right from the start. It's an emotional roller coaster. Dan's character is fantastic. Great artwork and an engrossing story make this feel so real that I can't wait for the next issue. Easily, a convincing 9/10 from me.

I really enjoyed this issue, as it kept up the pace of issue #1. Another 9/10. Ben is developing a conscience and realizing the wrongs he has done over the years. Will it be too late to save him?

Another good issue. I got a bit lost, at first, but after a second read it all became clear. Time for retribution at the end of a scalpel" and Ben is just the surgeon to carry it out. 9/10.

Really enjoyed this issue, as it left us with a potential story turner. Is Ben dead or just about hanging on? Well written and drawn, so well worth another 9/10

One word describes this issue for me, and that word is "brilliant," full of immature, and sometimes dark, humor, colorful artwork, and over the top violence. This story just gets better with each issue, making me look forward to its release date to see what happens next.

This is another fantastic installment in the Hit-Girl story, with a clever insight into the nature of our duo that builds up towards the end, leaving us waiting for a messy outcome in issue #4. Beautifully drawn again by John Romita, Jr. So, it's a well-deserved 9/10 from me!

A good twist at the end, leaving us on a knife edge. What will the outcome be? Has Mindy and her family met their match this time? Brilliantly written and illustrated, yet again, so another solid 9/10. Roll on issue #5!

A few interesting ideas that are ruggedly drawn by J.M. Ringuet.

This issue is far better than the first, with a better story and more colorful, tidy artwork " this time from Axel Medellin. The first issue was used as a way of introducing Murder as a new member of the team. A continuing storyline also helps, instead of a different case each issue. So, overall, for me, this issue was an improved experience.

Each issue seems to get better and better as the story progresses, as well as the artwork. The last page of this issue being a good example, as the creature that awaits the Hoax Hunters is beautifully drawn. The story is not the most complex, but it raises excitement and keeps the reader wanting more. So an exciting 8/10 for this issue!

In the woods, we see Durand taking a drink from a stream. Feeling something thudding into him, he turns around and sees multiple darts in his back, promptly passing out. Clive has found his target. Standing over Durand's limp body, he says he will make a great centerpiece for his final ceremony. What does this mean and how will it turn out? Fingers crossed the Hoax Hunters will arrive in time! The clever story continues in this issue and, at the end of every issue, there is a genuine cliffhanger that just leaves you wanting more. I'm giving this issue a great 9/10 and… roll on the next issue!

A great ending to this story arc. Well, maybe not, as we don't know if Jack entered the portal or not. A very entertaining story, aided by a well balanced team of Hoax Hunters. Nice vivid, precise artwork, with some lovely-drawn frames. I look forward to the start of a new story in issue #5. Another well-deserved 9/10!

Another great story, brilliantly written, but, this time, it seems to have a creepy edge to it, making it stand out from the previous story. Lovely-drawn panels are present right through, making it very pleasing to the eye. I'm giving this a very well-deserved 9/10.

In the woods, the other team realizes their mistake, as darkness descends upon them. Noises and fleeting images have them spooked, and rightly so. Ken goes after them and gets tripped by an eerie hand as he approaches, sending him to the ground. Creatures hold him down and keep him quiet, as the mysterious figure from before rips half the head off one of the other team. As the remaining two fear for their life, they are attacked by the smaller creatures. Is this the end of the Hoax Hunter Hunters? I loved this issue, as it had something different in the introduction of the other team.

A good first issue used, really, as an introduction to It Girl herself and other members of The Atomics. The story hasn't really taken off yet, so I can only give it 6/10 at the moment, with the hope of something better to come.

I loved this issue, as I could relate to it. As I live in a house with two sisters and can see the direction that James S. Rich was taking it, I can say that he got it spot on. This story arc ends with the next issue. It should be an explosive ending and one I'm looking forward to. 8/10, again.

A fitting conclusion to the story. Maybe a little rushed, but it was a satisfying end for all concerned. A nice story full of cool references, which all looked so colorful and friendly, but not to take away from a strong story running right through it. A new arc starts next year. One I will definitely be following. An extra mark this issue for a good ending! 9/10

Let's Play God has started off like a creepy “Who Done It?”, with lots of questions to ask already. What's Billy's tie-in with what went on? What does she want to tell Mel? Who is the mysterious figure writing at the beginning? Is it the masked killer? Well written by Brea Grant and her brother Zane and brilliantly illustrated by Eric J, especially the gruesome death scene, which left little to the imagination. Issue #2 should answer a few questions for us and probably leave us with some more. So, over all, a good start to a promising story and a solid 7.5/10 for this first issue.

Why did I ever doubt this story? It was fantastic, fast paced, and entertaining from the start. Great visuals make it even better. I personally hate dolls. They give me the creeps. I'm even worse now! A very well-deserved 9/10.

I think things could get really nasty in the next five parts, but I would give this first issue a solid 8/10 for great artwork and a very brave story line. I'm looking forward to the second issue already, to see how the story unfolds.

Issue #2 carries the story on at breakneck speed. A well-deserved 8/10.

At the end of this issue, we see Gwen in a clinic getting help… or so we think. With a single step, she throws herself off the building to her certain death. As she speeds towards the pavement below, she is rescued by a winged angel. She wakes in her own bed in the morning and thinks it's all a dream, but, as she looks at her reflection in the mirror, two hand prints are on her shoulders, exactly where the angel grabbed her. What has happened and who is this stranger who rescued her? Sean Murphy has excelled himself in this issue, as it's full of fantastic twists, which reflect the way modern life is today. Great artwork, too, so I'm giving this a perfect 10/10!

Easily 10/10, this story never disappoints. Especially this issue, as it's spun the story on its head, taking it in a different direction. The artwork suits the storyline too, which is rough and gritty, but so good. Roll on next issue. Chris is going to kick ass!

"Fantastic,” "controversial,” "inspirational"… these are words to describe this story, depending on your beliefs and, with only one more issue to go, it gets another 10/10, because it makes you think.

A fantastic story with an emotional ending that made me feel even more for the characters involved. A fantastic and well deserved 10/10!

Brilliant story! I loved the way it jumped from character to character, hitting the reader with so many different people. I have to say that it really worked. Fantastic artwork, too, which really draws the reader in. I gave issue #1 an 8/10. I'm adding another point hereand giving this issuea well-deserved 9/10!

I'm really enjoying this story. Good characters that are connected in many ways. Another 9/10 from me for issue #3.

The story is taking twist after twist, but not too much that the reader could lose track. So many possible ways it could go, so I am looking forward to the next issue. I have my theories, but I'm keeping them to myself. Good, solid artwork all the way through, especially the creature. So another 9/10 for issue #4.

Dana realizes that her sister has been calling Professor Aaron Weimar, the teacher she had become involved with when she was younger. She thought this was all over, but obviously not, to her disgust. Towards the end, we see Martha outside Professor Weimar's house. Is this affair still going on? We also see a couple of insights into the way the story will go, as we are shown Mrs. Hettinga alarmingly reading a note she was left and an old hermit making a rare trip into town, leaving a newborn creature at his house. Loads of twists still grace this story, especially with Martha still having a thing for Professor Weimar and the scenes of Mrs Hettinga and the old hermit. Another well-deserved 9/10.

This story has started well. Good humor and artwork keep the reader hooked and wanting to know what happens next. The characters are well-presented, making them very believable.

This issue is another master class in writing from Mark Millar, with great humor, fantastic characters, and some trademark over-the-top violence. All brought to life by the vibrant artwork of Leinil Yu" a winning partnership, in my opinion. The story has stepped up even more, as we now know the identities of the gang members and also their target.

This is a great idea for a story, with loads of twists and strong characters.

A fantastic ending to an awesome storyline. Plenty of humor throughout and brilliantly drawn, Supercrooks is a modern masterpiece. I must give this a 10/10, as it had everything.

The really atmospheric artwork suits the character and storyline really well.

I gave issue #1 a good 7/10. This issue is much the same. I have always liked The Crow as a character, but this story is struggling to pick up the pace in my opinion. The artwork is the standout for me so far, so it's another 7/10, with the hope that the next issue steps it up a little.

I gave the first two issues a solid 7/10, but issue #3 has earned an extra point as the story has improved a good bit. A few twists have been added, making it a better read, so a well-deserved 8/10 this time around.

This has developed into a good story, building up with every issue to what will be an explosive ending. An extra point again for this issue, so it's an improved 8/10, with the hope of a fantastic conclusion next month.

A good, entertaining story that could have lots of pathways as it progresses. Black and white artwork might not be to everyone's liking, but it is very well drawn, making it easy to read. Good humor in the writing, too, with some cool gadgets. So for issue #1, a well-earned 7/10.

Another good issue, leaving us to wonder how David will escape and what gadgets he will use to do so. How significant will the name Metalstorm prove to be and will he get the girl? We will find out in the next issue. A good, interesting story carries on in this issue and functional artwork does its job really well. So another 7/10 from me.

What will be the outcome? I love David's character. He's had enough and wants to “stick it to the man,” as they say. The story is full of cool gadgets, all of which are believable. Lovely-drawn black and white artwork fits so well, not over busy, but functional. The story does a good enough job of keeping the reader interested. Looking forward to issue #4 to find out what happens. An improved 8/10 for this issue, just for the cool way David and Mirra made their escape.

A brilliant end to this particular story arc, as well as a really interesting and clever journey through the mind of a flawed genius. I anticipate another story full of twists and turns and, of course, more cool gadgets. This concluding issue gets a well-deserved 8/10.
