Overall Faith is one the funnest books on the shelves. I personally dig this book due to the true to life personalities in the book. The writing and art are text book examples of comic book creation. Read Full Review
That's the tag for the issue, where hilarity is sure to ensue. Faith is a warm-hearted comic series and that's solely down to the title character. She's a refreshing character, and it's lovely to see a person of size perform moves and take down bad guys instead of the usual muscly men and stick-thin females who are popping out of their costume. This issue feels like everyone is hitting all of their marks at full steam. Houser easily mixes the fun of the comic book convention with the crime of superhero comics. It's a nice balance in a nice story that goes a long way to really humanize Faith and get us on her side. No matter how cynical the world is if 'Faith' doesn't inspire some joy in your life you're doing comics wrong. The issue is just unapologetic enjoyment.
