There is a lot of ground to cover in Harbinger: Renegades. The first two issues have been a bit of a whirlwind, so the possibility of the story becoming convoluted is high. With this many levels of characters and locales, it would be easy to feel a bit lost or overwhelmed, yet the story remains clear and concise. You may think that nothing much happens in this issue, I did the first time I read it, but there's a lot of character exploration here, which allow us to get into the minds of Kris, Tamara, and to a certain extent Peter.We also get a glimpse at the man who will more than likely be the “villain” in the story as the series progresses. I use quotation marks, because even Toyo Harada wasn't as evil as you'd think, so I'm curious how Roberts will set the new guy up. Read Full Review
Valiant fans have been long anticipating more stories of the Renegades from Harbinger. Crafting a narrative that is satisfying to both new and veteran readers of these characters cannot be an easy task, but the creative team on this title seems to be doing just that. Or doing it as well as anyone can reasonably expect. With Harbinger Renegade, Valiant is adding another solid, character driven book to it's legacy. Highly recommended. Read Full Review
