Let the plot be kicked up a notch. Things are heating up as Valiant's various heroes confront one of their own, and the plot thickens in the process. It's a page turner of epic proportions that is only going to pull Valiant's loyal fans further in and draw in newcomers as well. Read Full Review

With strong art by Joe Bennett and Belardino Brabo, and a solid script by Eliot Rahal (based on a screenplay by a small army of writers), this is a fun oddity - an event that stands alone. Read Full Review

Reading Valiant comics is a lot of fun. It's like getting to see what your favorite Avengers characters would do in a different Universe, and they rarely disappoint. There was a good amount of character cameo's in this book, and it moves pretty swiftly as a story. This is a good one to pick up to get acquainted with the Valiant U. More Importantly, have you seen that they hired Real Actors to portray the characters in this story? Including the Green Ranger himself Jason David Frank! It's clear the Valiant has some big things planned, and their writing and art are superb. I recommend this book as a good primer to be your gateway to these major players in the VCU or Valiant Comics Universe! Read Full Review

Ultimately, this is a much better representation of the quality the creative team are capable of and a far more interesting entry in the story than the debut issue. It's still not perfect, but if the series follows this trajectory then we may just get there in the end. Read Full Review

The whole thing comes together like a Big Two crossover from the '80s or '90s, beginning at around page three and just passing the baton from character to character, introducing the world of the story to the reader in scenes that feel slow and didactic. Read Full Review
