NINJAK VS. THE VALIANT UNIVERSE #4 is a fast-paced thrill ride of the comic. While it isn't particularly deep in its characterization or events, the story is incredibly fun, the artistic team has crafted one of the most visually spectacular stories I have ever seen. Read Full Review
Still, it's a fun warmup for the live action antics of these heroes. Read Full Review
I have really enjoyed this limited series. It establishes some truths for the Valiant Universe and sets up for the status quo in the upcoming Harbinger Wars 2. This was a fun book, that reads similar to a heist or action film, that though it lacked depth, it made up for in humor and heart. A rogue character who does the wrong things for the right reasons, and is forced to hurt the ones he cares about to save the ones he loves. It is a fun concept and a great introduction to the Valiant Continuity. I recommend this is an easy read that is never boring and is a great alternative to the big two comic publishers. Ninjak vs the Valiant Universe does not disappoint. A fine Bookend to the short Mini-series.I am looking forward to the Live action production that will be out soon. Check this one out. Ninjak vs the Valiant Universe #4 manages to finish off this troubled miniseries on a somewhat high note. The story is fun, Bennett and Arreola make it look good, and I can recommend it. Its not required reading, but itll give you a good time. Feel free to check it out. Read Full Review
I give this issue 3 out of 5 stars. This series started out on a good note with a lot of promise, but as a whole is lacking in any truly memorable moments. Roku as a villain serves her purpose here but comes across as one-dimensional. The series does serve its purpose as a beginner's look at the Valiant universe, but it ultimately feels empty. A few splash pages of the superstars in this line help make the finale a bit bigger, but there's nothing that make it a must read. Read Full Review
Hopefully the webseries that this is adapted from will be better than the series, but after having read the comics I'm not holding out much hope of anything more than a brief diversion. Read Full Review
The final panels setting up whats next for Ninjak and maybe the Valiant Universeasa whole quite nicely and the twist was a nice little reveal, which I wont spoil for you,but it wasnt enough to save what was, for me, a disappointing end to an excitingseries which contained one of my favourite face offs, Ninjak versus Bloodshot. Asthis was a tie in event with a much delayed live web series soon to be aired, maybecertain story decisions will translate better on the screen, only time will tell. Read Full Review
