Overall, if you want a taste of what Shadowman is all about then I recommend picking up this issue. Yes, you will be confused about who the characters are if this is your first introduction to them but I felt like the stories here still worked if you didn't have the Shadowman universe being the background for where these stories took place. Overall I think that these stories would have been much better on their own. As three separate tales in the same book, you were left wanting more from the Blackout andDeadside Blues stories. They were entertaining and had a focus that didn't bore you. With that said, it's not too much to expect from these stories given that they are just small tales before the new story arch begins. Wouldn't entirely invest in this issue unless you're that big of a fan of Shadowman, but definitely look forward to Peter Milligan and Roberto De La Torre taking over soon. Read Full Review
The best part about all three of these stories could make a great start to a bigger story arc. This issue might not be the strongest because it's all short stories, but it does get you familiar with the characters. I would say pick this up to see all sides of Shadowman stories. I'm looking forward to the new story arc but pick up this one for your collection too. Read Full Review
In un singolo issue, trovare ben 3 storie è abbastanza inusuale, purtroppo è questo che penalizza questo spillato. 3 vicende affrettate di cui solo una realmente utile al continuo della storia. E' vero che è una sorta di riassunto di ciò che deve essere e rappresentare il portatore del potere, però come detto, non vanno ad approfondire la natura del personaggio e poco centrano con ciò che è stato raccontato fin ora. Capisco la volontà degli autori e la scelta di pubblicare delle storie del genere, ma non la approvo in qeusto determinato momento della storia.
La sufficienza la raggiunge perlopiù per i disegni (CAFU eccezionale nella prima parte).
