In all respects, the package Valiant put together is the way to do FCBD. It had something for everyone and showcased Valiant's most exciting titles, brilliant art, and top-notch writing talent. In addition, there are some great pieces of information including first appearances, deaths, best team-ups which will be great for new fans along with teasers for new Eternal Warrior, Archer and Armstrong, and Harbinger series which has really excited a lot of the current fan base the past few days. We get an enjoyable look into the Valiant Universe. We get nothing short of above average work, great information and some wonderful teasers of what is to come. The only real disappointment was just getting the Ninjak preview. Sure, it is a fantastic preview. Yet, I would have rather had an original story and not something that was posted on line months ago. So there you have it. A history lesson and some new material for you to enjoy and tempt you from the Big 2. The problem with the book is that is does it's job too well, in that once you have read it, you may well want to pick up the books, which will lead to some soul searching for which books to remove from your pull list.
