In the crosshairs of the biggest decision of their life, Aleph is walking a tightrope down Laurelwood's main street. On one side, the resistance - defying the future forced down their throats. On the other, the corporate overlords - who want progress, no matter how many victims. But there's a third allegiance no one ever suspected, not even Aleph. And it might just be the perfect solution - as well as the answer to the biggest mystery of all: Aleph themself.
A delightfully chaotic blend of humor, caution, and sci-fi, Test #3 brings big and bold elements into Laurelwood and Aleph Null's life. Read Full Review
"Test" #3 piles more symbols, narrative and longing into Aleph's story without the fine control needed to elicit pure chaos. Read Full Review
Christopher Sebela wrote a simple story in a complicated manner, but that's not to say that it's bad.
Issue 3 is just as twisty as previous issues but as some elements are now familiar reads with greater clarity.
Just as Aleph believes them-self to be autonomous and in control they finds them-self in need of rescue, and that then places them back in a position of debt, and this time the cost is higher than just being part of a whole.
There is real wit threaded through this book which makes it a very welcoming read.
