In Unnatural Order #2, Christopher Yost provides much more character depth to the villain, the Druid, as well as the main character, John Murphy. The story also really gets going. The mixing of sci-fi with swords and sorcery separates this series from others on the shelf. But, even without this aspect, the excellent art of Val Rodrigues and Dearbhla Kelly would be reason enough to check out this series. Read Full Review
I really like the direction of the book. There needed to be a recap though. Only after reading a few pages did I remember that Murphy was found at the end of the last issue. The mixing of the military and fantasy genres feels exciting and fresh. I'm looking forward to the next issue.
