    Through the stories from the Broken Man we learn about the legendary traveling musician Silverstring, the rebellious Mister Cakewalk, and see the birth of Jazzbaby. Presented through the view of omnipresent narrator who is only telling us the parts of the story he wishes us to know, it's an unusual walk down the streets of Astro City's dark and troubled past that nevertheless still holds its share of magic and wonderment.
