Richard Smiley has kidnapped Trent and taken him back to the abandoned Wrongdog theme park…but have the people of Pluto softened Eddie enough to care? It’s a confrontation between two incredibly annoying guys, with a fallout that will leave Eddie at his lowest. Which is really saying something!

Eddie attempts to be a reluctant hero as Trent is kidnapped in another phenomenal issue. Starks unloads the deep rooted feelings in-between the adult humor. Pugh & O'Halloran bring the insanity of Eddie’s world to spectacular life. There is no good reason End Of Life shouldn’t be in your collection. Read Full Review

This issue is pretty close to perfect, but it also seems to bring an end to the whole Pluto era of the title. I’m very curious to see where it goes now, as the small-town setting was one of the big selling points. Read Full Review

Step Right Up End of Life #5 has a few choices I’m not totally sold on, but the main confrontation is equally tense and hilarious, with a few utterly ridiculous moments throughout. As long as Eddie continues to show even small signs of growth, I’ll continue to root for him. I think we’re at a bit of a transition point in terms of where the story goes next, so we’ll have to see how that plays out. Read Full Review

Smiley is pretty annoying and I think the sincerity at the end didn’t quite land. Couple really funny moments though, especially Eddie praying his Dad doesn’t kill him while he’s shooting up Smiley’s goons.
