The Shadow Players are fractured and under siege by some of the Lone Star State's darkest legends! Connor spills his guts to La Llorona, Bo tries not to get rammed and Peter bites off more pain than he can swallow while he searches for ancient artifacts! Meanwhile, back at Plano South, the rest of the crew gets an education from the mysterious Kara Bass in this arc's pulse-pounding penultimate chapter!
Overall, this is a well-balanced issue that adds nicely to the plot and character development as well as the introduction of a new fable type. Lots of mysteries to be solved in the coming months, and issues like this will continue to pushEverafter: From the Pages of Fablesin the right direction. It may be that Bo and Peter will have to share the spotlight with characters like Ms. Bass who are interesting in their own right. Read Full Review
I give this an 8.5 rating because while the art was great, it wasn't as great as I know Travis Moore CAN do, but it didn't have to be. The story was pretty good on its own. I liked it a lot! Read Full Review
