    Overall Fables #137 is not a bad comic. It does however raise more questions than it does provide answers. With the end of an arc I would have liked a little more finality. However, the ending is being most definitely set up a little bit here and while that makes me incredibly sad, it does add to my anticipation for the next 13 issues. Fables continues to be one of the best series of all time and if you aren't reading it now, then get out there and get the trades and catch up before the ending. Read Full Review

    Fables #136 also foreshadows the return of Bigby with the completion of his statue (except from a tiny piece made into a ring) and some ominous words from Winter suggesting that the wolf's eventual return may not be the cause for celebration all may hope it be. Worth a look. Read Full Review

    The newest issue of Fables improves on the problems of earlier installments in Camelot, while creating a very real sense of foreboding and dread. It continues to weave together long running story threads that series fans will appreciate, while once again playing with a new perspective amongst the enormous cast.
