Unknown Soldier works on so many levels its bafflingly impressive. On the most superficial level, it's a classic revenge power fantasy like so many other comics on the stands today. Dig a little deeper, though, and you'll find an extremely moving meditation on war, genocide, insanity, and the human capacity for hope in the face of atrocious situations.
