Unknown Soldier works on so many levels its bafflingly impressive. On the most superficial level, it's a classic revenge power fantasy like so many other comics on the stands today. Dig a little deeper, though, and you'll find an extremely moving meditation on war, genocide, insanity, and the human capacity for hope in the face of atrocious situations. Again, it's the most powerful, daring book on the stands. It also very well might be the best. Read Full Review
