Y: The Last Man #24
| Writer | Brian K. Vaughan |
| Artist | Pia Guerra |
Co-creator Pia Guerra returns for Part 1 of the 2-part "Tongues of Flame." This brand-new storyline - and excellent jumping-on point for new readers - explores what's happened to organized religion in the unmanned world. The Last Man on Earth is desperately searching for a Catholic priest so he can make an important confession. But if Yorick's not careful, he may end up needing Last Rites instead.

Still, the shot of the plane hitting the ground is a fantastic visual, though the scene where Yorick makes his move was also nicely done, as it's instantly clear he was the one who made the first move.
