The Graphic Library - Sara Campbell
May 06, 2020This novel continues with the fast-paced narration of the first volume, so it seems that is going to be the way this series operates. We are getting more students introduced and highlighted with every chapter, and the quirks are all really interesting. Nothing is as basic as super speed - rather, Ida has exhaust pipes sticking out of his legs, and his calves are basically little engines. Kacchan doesn't just throw fire from his hands - his sweat glands secrete flammable liquid that he ignites and can direct towards something. The details and thought-process Horikoshi puts into developing these super-powers is really something unique about this series as opposed to other super-hero driven stories. The artwork is very detailed even in the blurry fight scenes, so everything is easy to follow, and characters are easy to distinguish, even outside of their costumes. Read Full Review
