GRIMM FAIRY TALES (VOL. 2) #48, available from Zenescope Entertainment on May 12th, 2021, is the epitome of a simple superhero action issue with extra icing on top. The simple story and excellent art expertly furthers the larger arc and adds a shocking cliffhanger for good measure. Read Full Review
I have often said, that for me, the Grimm books are a bit of a guilty pleasure; there are times when they shouldn't work, but for large parts, you can't help but get caught up in the fun. Skye looking for Shang is getting old, so I do hope that this arc does reach a conclusion soon. With issue #50 just around the corner, I can but hope. Read Full Review
One thing that is almost immediately apparent for this issue is that it is here solely to move the story along. Readers get a promise however of much more to come in Grimm Fairy Tales #49 so we will wait to see if it dips back into the main story. The issue with page 20 aside, this was enjoyable, but I am waiting for that gut punch issue where everything feels like it is coming to a head. Read Full Review
