Up front, I have never cared for Thor. I have a few issues, a few trades from the 70s-80s stuff...I never even cared for Simonson's run (don't hate me!)...but I bought this trade today because everyone at my LCS keeps raving about this series. I read the first couple of issues...then the third...okay, I finished it in one sitting. They were right. It's AMAZING! The art was dark and beautiful and so was the story. Now I have to go get issues 7-9 because I can't wait for the next trade to come out.
