Okay so getting the negative out of the way this TPB is misleading and does not have any of the main Action Comics issues, just short back stories. Not that there's anything wrong with little stories like these but looking through Amazon and the DC website this TPB is still described as containing full main issues. Guess at the time DC was trying to double dip Idk what they gained from lying? Maybe they didn't think people would buy it if they st
Right up said it was an anthologies book with stories set around the time of the current run?

Best part of this is Doomsday Special hands down. I deducted five points for the deception on DCs part but kept 5 because I actually liked some of the light hearted stories. The stories got me to like Ortho and Orsul however you say their names the Warworld orphans. I also don't mind the Chinese Superman Kenan he's kind of funny in this especially that he's friend with a fat Chinese Batman. I liked how Conner is romantically involved with Me'ghan Martian Manhunter's niece if I recall? I remember liking this relationship dynamic in the Young Justice series I watched a while back. Although I hope to God Conner gets rid of his dyed red hair, please have mercy that stays contained in this shit little anthology book please.

The worst of this was Superman's son Jon Kent. This should have been the best but it was f***ing fake and g*y. It was so f*they and cringey I barely made it past two pages when "Jay" first showed his stupid face and disgusting punk hair. I forgot they did this to Jon and found myself disgusted and some of my enthusiasm sucked away pun intended. And no I don't care if a character is g*y, but frankly why Superman's son? Besides that point, the way it was done was so girly and fruity, it was hard to watch. Read Brett Easton Ellis, he will explain why this accepted Hollywood g*y type just doesn't work and comes off fake. Why do the guys have to act like girls? Aren't there guys who are gay and still Idk, manly? So if it's going to be a Supermans son who has the potential strength of his father, acting like a fruitcake to fit the mainstream media accepted version of homosexuality just doesn't fit in this world here.

Lastly I stopped reading at Knight Terrors that was just bland stupid horror crap I didn't want to waste my time on, finally onto the actual Action comics thank you...
