Two great stories about three under-utilized characters. The Havok+Madelyne relationship is way too interesting for the amount of content they're giving us. One short miniseries and this story isn't enough in my opinion. I want a full series with an upper tier creative team. I love Lorna, but Alex with Madelyne makes a lot of sense and is something good for two characters that always get the short end of the stick.
Omega Red has always been one of my favorite X-villains and his time with the X-Men during the Krakoa Age was really interesting to me. Not a full-fledged good guy, but a survivor willing to adjust his behavior in order to survive fit the character. This story showed there is a spark of good in him, while also shedding light on why he is as bad as he is. Nice character development for a character I want to know more about.
Usually these side stories by B-teams don't interest me that much and I just skim through them to get the general idea, but I read this book deliberately and my only gripe is slightly subpar art. I still really enjoyed it though.
