It is without any doubt the best monster fight that I have never seen in a comic book, intense, bloody, crude and savage. I dare you to find a better vision of a combat like this, not even movies are able to instill the feelings that this fight emanates. Incredible ending for a good story arch.
In a frozen camp full of slaughtered agents, two monstrous, long-running characters go head to head in a life-and-death battle!
Following the global havoc created by the frog war, and with the B.P.R.D. now operating under strict UN oversight, our heroes face new horrors. People are once again vanishing from small towns, monsters are roaming in the woods, and a strange new creature arrives to create hell on earth.
In this sweeping adaptation of Robert E. Howard's fan-favorite "Queen of the Black Coast," Conan turns his back on the civilized world and takes to the high seas alongside the pirate queen Blit, setting the stage for an epic of romance, terror, and swashbuckling. This is Conan as you've never seen him, with the combination of one of Robert E. Howar...
What started as some kind of hommage to the classic spandex costume hero genre, ended up being one the best stories I've ever read on the last couple of years. Pick it up read the first 12 issues and you will not be able to stop. Also Ryan Ottley has a fantastic art style.
Girls, acne, homework, super-villains. When you're a teenager, it helps to be Invincible.
The first issue was not a the big blow I was specting, but the second issue is just too good. Nice little series a big yes if you are into Mignola's and & Co take of WWII and ocultist society/gov non sensical awesomeness.
Outgunned and outnumbered by an army of Nazis, a group of GIs must band together and unleash the Hyperborean power of the mysterious man in the iron suit in order to make it home safely.
What can I say? Hellboy has been my first love since I started reading american comic books 15 years ago. Cannot say a bad thing about the most talented and unique artist in the comic-book industry.
After saving the world in The Storm and The Fury, but sacrificing himself and Great Britain, Hellboy is dead, cast into Hell, where he finds many familiar faces, and a throne that awaits him.
Mike Mignola returns to draw Hellboy's ongoing story for the first time since Conqueror Worm. It's a story only Mignola could tell, as more of He...
Love the "pro" approach, the story is full of good black ops military fiction but the flow of the narrative is a little bit scattered. I mean, it seems (at least till issue 12) justs flashes and glimses of a bigger picture that will be revealed when the setting is further developed.
Anyways is a pretty nice piece of fiction with a fantastic art to boot!
The evolution of global warfare necessitates the evolution of special forces to rise and meet the call. The U.S Army has therefore looked to its last secret special operations tribe, the INTELLIGENCE SUPPORT ACTIVITY, or Gray Fox. Within Gray Fox is a team of elite men and women whose mission is flexible, whose technology is bleeding edge, and whos...
