CasualBro reviewed Batman Beyond #1 Jun 27, 2015

SPOILER-FREE REVIEW.

It's hard to say what's wrong with this first chapter in the new Batman Beyond. It's got great art, an okay story, good action, I guess it just all boils down to the fact that nothing stands out. Nothing gets me hyped to even continue reading this. That's pretty bad for a first issue and I was really disappointed this wasn't an instant hit like some of the other #1' more

SPOILER-FREE REVIEW.

The return of Darkseid, and it's mega huge. I'm so afraid to say anything about the plot, but thus far in this first issue of the Darkseid War has me convinced this is shaping up to be an instant classic. The people are obviously excited as well, as my main LCS was sold out and the other three he called were sold out as well (luckily I was able to get my hands on on more

SPOILER-FREE REVIEW.

First, let me just start by saying that I dropped Wonder Woman after Azzarello and Chiang left the series. I didn't even give Meredith a chance, as I thought it wouldn't be possible to get that kind of great quality that Azzarello/Chiang produced issue after issue. Well, by chance I picked this issue up from my LCS after seeing that sweet Joker variant and I got to more

Wonder Woman #41

By: Meredith Finch, Jonathan Glapion

A daring new direction begins with the arrival of a brand-new villain! But while he may be new to us, hes not new to the world he seeks to tame. And speaking of villains, Donna Troys quest to destroy Wonder Woman ratchets up another gear (if thats even possible!), while the games of the Gods bring dark portents to the ultimate Amazon!

What an exciting time to be reading DC. I've always been a fan of J'onn J'onzz, back from my days as a toddler watching the Justice League animated tv series, but always thought of him as a guy you would only see in team books. Now he gets his own and so far so good. One aspect I like about the book thus far is the paranoia it sets up and the "epiphany" jumps at yo more

SPOILER-FREE REVIEW.

A solid first issue in the new chapter of my favorite Green Lantern, John Stewart. It's solid because you get the sense that DC has something big in store for John, as he's leading what's left of the corps in this strange universe. The possibilities as to where they are, and how that will effect the corps, is also very exciting. The only drawback in this issue is t more
