It's hilarious--for being a book with the focus on a behemoth of a man carrying a severed witch's head, it feels so real, especially with Agatha Blue Witch's constant annoying of Head Lopper (Norgal will do just fine).
STORY / ART / COVER A: ANDREW MacLEAN
Norgal and Agatha meet fellow adventurer Zhaania while battling a mega-arachnid from Hell.
Still great.
Norgal and Agatha pass through a dark forest with a particularly grim history, where they meet a strange little creature named Gnym. Is he a friend? Or does he just want to see undead giants squish the Head Lopper to meat-jelly? All this... And more!
MAJOR PLOT POINT
Villain, Servin Lulach's origin story is introduced.
Unbelievable start to the new series, leaves you wishing there was more book left.
A new era for the Black Panther starts here!
Written by MacArthur Genius and National Book Award winner TA-NEHISI COATES (Between the World and Me) and illustrated by living legend BRIAN STELFREEZE, "A Nation Under Our Feet" is a story about dramatic upheaval in Wakanda and the Black Panther's struggle to do right by his people as their ruler...
I read these as they came out, and I definitely enjoyed it. The art is the best part for me, and the writing is good as well, but the story itself seems a little too all over the place for me, personally. But again, the art makes it worth the buy.
The long-awaited 4-issue miniseries is collected in a new hardcover! The impossible has happened and Batman is on the verge of being taken down by an enemy he cannot defeat: a virus for which there is no cure! And the only hope for his salvation isThe Joker! Who infected Batman, what does the Clown Prince of Crime know, and how will the Dark Knight...
Despite most people feeling like it is the worst issue of the series so far (at least that I've spoken to), I thought it was the best. The cover definitely oversells a "deadly battle" with Alec Holland, but I really enjoy the idea of Swamp Thing taking on a villainous role with Matt Cable. I'm absolutely unsure of how this turns around for Alec, though.
Alec Holland tries to help a friend learn the ways of the Green, but is he the same person Alec remembers? Could something far more sinister than dark magic be looming?
Zatanna's appearance is cool, but overall feels like it could have been more.
An old friend appears in the swamp with an unbelievable proposition for Swamp Thing: using a dark spell, it might be possible for the Avatar of the Green to return to his human form as Alec Holland and regain his old life. But all magic has a costwill Swamp Thing get everything he has ever wanted, or discover the consequences of leaping before you ...
It's definitely not a bad comic, just not a great one either. (Using 5 as "average" for my scale).
A zombie is on the loose on the campus of Louisiana's Crowley College! Swamp Thing must search out an old friend if he hopes to save the small college town from the resurrected student roaming the forest. But if he thinks that zombies are the biggest problem on his horizon, Alec Holland might need to think again.
The best $6 you could feasibly spend on a comic book you've probably never heard of. Fantastic.

Anticlimactic ending to what was an excellent story arc.
Matt Murdock struggles to come to grips with his failure to save Chinatown from the clutches of Tenfingers. Meanwhile, the self-proclaimed prophet revels as his the vision of his rapture is actualized. But not all prophecies are what they seem.
Maybe it's just because of the first issue, but this never grabbed me. I get there were moments and there is a mystery behind all that went on, but it never hits home. I'll read at least two more issues to give it a fair shot, but so far, not so good.
