To me, this was a fun space story. It wasn't the most complex or intriguing comic I've ever read, but it was a fun little book. I do wish that I hadn't been forced to look up back story to really understand the full scope of what's going on; and the Black Hand bit at the end seemed abrupt, but, overall, not a bad book in the least.
Renegade Green Lantern Hal Jordans investigation into the disappearance of the Green Lantern Corps will have to wait he has bigger problems on his hands. Inexplicably, entire worlds are being turned to stone. But before Hal can discover the cause, hell have to face a criminal gang thats pursuing him across the universe!
I enjoyed this book; it didn't blow me away, but I liked it. I'm looking forward to seeing just what Montoya's up to, which cops are good, and which cops are bad.
The all-new Batman tries to find his place in Gotham City! But how can he manage his already uneasy relationship with the GCPD?
I really enjoyed this book; I was able to just sink into the story enough that I forgot to care about the technical details of execution. Instead, I really felt angry and sad and excited as I read the book, reacting to the characters actions. I'd definitely recommend this as a book to pick up, and I'm looking forward to seeing where the story goes.
The Superman epic you never expected TRUTH continues! Who will stand by Clark Kent?
I love the art; I love that it's different from anything I've ever seen in a DC comic before. I'm equally drawn in by the story and the cosmic nature of the fight between Anubis and Bastet. I desperately hope that the writers leave the Egyptian mythological pantheon as ephemeral, and mystic forces of nature and don't water them down to a typical cast of superheroes and supervillains as Thor has domore
You thought global warming was bad? Anubis, the Egyptian Lord of Dead, is preparing the flood to wash the world away. Standing in his way? An overwhelmed Brooklyn med student whos been handed the helmet of Fate, without an instruction manual.
Not bad, not great. For me, there was a whole lot to like in this book, but not a lot to love.
In this startling new series, a Metropolis U student gains the power to transform into the monstrously powerful Doomsday! The power may be the key to fixing his life, but every time he transforms he risks getting stuck forever as Superman's most heinous adversary! How far can he go before he's doomed?
Reminds me of Swamp Thing's run with its tinge of horror. I love Mr. Biscuits.
Shape-shifting Martians are invading Earth - so where is J'onn J'onzz to stop them? Trust no one as the Martian Manhunter tries to stop these ruthless alien terrorists from destroying everything!
The Finely Woven Thread - PART 3: "FOLIAGE"
• She's the kind of woman you call when you need to escape from a South American prison.
• Don't miss the book everyone is talking about (and it isn't even out yet!)
• In fact, it's so good, that you won't want to wait another month for the next issue.
• And you won't have to!
